That’s just a inkling of some of the messages we have received over the years… I think it’s quite safe to say that y’all love your Lobster Rolls lah 😛
Well, to be honest, it’s quite difficult (if not almost impossible) to find Halal Lobster Rolls in SG these days. There were a few options in the past but those have since either closed down or were just promotional items. The good news – you no longer need to hunt… Flavour Flings has got you covered!
Flavour Flings is proud to present their range of Chilled Crustacean Rolls which features the big daddy of them all – the famed and much sought after Lobster Roll.
The Flavour Flings version sees succulent lobster meat that’s paired with creamy mayo (their own secret recipe!) and held in a buttery Brioche roll. You also get some greens and some Garlic Parmesan Fries on the side for good measure.
Out of all the rolls we tried, I liked this one the best 😀 good portion of lobster that was nice and chunky here and there. Although, I would have liked more of that creamy, yummy mayo in there and maybe more buttery goodness with that Brioche!
I know that some of you may just be thinking of that Lobster Roll price (to be honest, I was thinking a lot about it too while I was eating it LOL) but when I break it down, it’s actually really worth it. Previous versions were roughly (and relatively) almost the same price but they had stuff like eggs and corn and stuff like that.
This version at Flavour Flings is all lobster! Or as we like to say – All Killer No Filler.
SO WORTH IT.
Anyways, it can be pretty filling so our suggestion is to order and maybe share. This also means you can order something else from the menu there. *AHEM SALTED EGG YOLK CROISSANT AHEM*
Besides the Lobster Roll, they have a few others to choose from too.
The Slipper Lobster Roll features Slipper Lobster meat instead of Lobster meat (but might as well go for the lobster lahhhhhh rightttttt). The Shrimp Roll and Crab Roll feature White Leg Shrimps / Jumbo Crab meat which I’m sure would appeal to you seafood fans 😀
This would also be a good time to mention that when the dish is served, the roll and the fries are warm but the filling itself (i.e. the Lobster meat etc) are slightly chilled (which is the case with a lot of versions of Lobster Rolls).
All the Chilled Crustacean Rolls are served with Garlic Parmesan Fries but if that’s not your thing, you can always swap it out for plain Fries or Cajun Fries too. Our suggestion is to top-up a little bit for some Salted Egg Fries 😛
Oh! And you can also top-up $2 to change the Brioche Roll to a buttery Croissant instead!
And just for the record – we washed it all down with some refreshing beverages 😛
Namely the Sea Salt Caramel Latte, Creme Brulee Latte and the Iced Chocolate!
The Chilled Crustacean Rolls range at Flavour Flings is available from 9th May 2018 and for a limited time only! Seeing as to how they are almost always full, it might be a good idea to make reservations! And keep updated via their social media channels too okay!
