I know there are plenty of popcorn lovers out there am I right! I know because I’m a popcorn lover too 😝. There’s just something about this timeless snack that is just so awesome. And these days, we no longer have to wait til we visit the cinema to enjoy it – we can enjoy it anytime! And this is where I introduce you to UNCLE DIDI 🙌🏼
There’s a good reason why they say Uncle Didi has the best popcorn in town. Just check out the wide range of different flavours and you’ll kind of get the hint 😁 Not only are they serving up top quality popcorn in a variety of flavours but they even introduce new and seasonal flavours from time to time too!
The good news is that I have tried all the flavours here for you including some special Raya edition flavours too.
So before I go through their line-up of popcorn flavours, I figured I’d rundown their special limited edition Premium Raya Popcorn with y’all first. They’ve got 3 special flavours that suit the season to choose from – Chilli Bawang, Bandung and Ondeh-Ondeh.
Among the 3, I’d say the Chili Bawang has the boldest flavours and definitely gives you a kick in the spice department. So for all you spicy lovers – this is the one for you 🔥. I was quite surprised that the Ondeh-Ondeh Popcorn tasted so similar to the original thing to be honest! You get hints of the pandan, gula melaka and even some coconut too so you know there’s some magic going on here. And for my fellow sweet tooth fanatics, the Bandung will be right up your alley. If you like the drink, you’ll love the popcorn.
Uncle Didi has a wide range of popcorn flavours ranging from sweet to somewhat savoury. I’d like to tell you exactly how many flavours they have but the truth is that they cycle through flavours from time to time and even come up with new flavours once in awhile too.
What I CAN tell you is that I tried all the flavours they had at the time 😝 In fact, I even tried a flavour that has just been retired (for the time being) and has been replaced by another new awesome flavour. I’ll let y’all know what it is later but for now, here’s a rundown of what I tried.

In terms of flavours, think Original Sweetcorn is the one most of us will be familiar with because this is the one that taste like the popcorn we enjoy in the cinema. Just the right balance of that classic popcorn flavour without going too sweet. This is the choice for all you ‘popcorn purists’ out there LOL.
The Salted Caramel, Brown Sugar, Caramel and Honey (not pictured) are the sweet range. Among those, the Salted Caramel definitely has the biggest flavour kick and I’m guessing that would be a hot favourite with many (along with the Caramel). My personal fave was the Honey because it had that slight hint of honey flavour.

The savoury range included Sour Cream, Seaweed, Double Cheese and BBQ. The Sour Cream reminded me of eating a can if Pringles but in popcorn form (if that makes any sense) because of the Sour Cream & Onion flavour obviously. Coincidentally the BBQ reminded me of eating some Jack & Jill Potato Chip LOL so if you’re fans of those flavours, you can now enjoy them in popcorn form. Cheese lovers should definitely go for the Double Cheese it’s got that CHEESY KICK 🧀🧀
Lovers of Japanese-inspired flavours will probably enjoy the Seaweed, And remember flavour I mentioned that’s been retired for the time being? That flavour is Wasabi! And I won’t say much since you can’t get it now but I’ll just say that I hope they bring it back because it was actually pretty shiok 😁 The flavours that has replaced it? MILO DINOSAUR 😮
Uncle Didi also has a great range of Cotton Candy too! Plenty of cool flavours and ‘designs’ to go for including Unicorn, Mermaid and Rainbow among others. Perfect for any upcoming parties or great gifting ideas too.
