2. THE HALIA (& THE VILLA)
We remember our visits to The Halia very fondly – a very enjoyable place to dine! Well, they have pretty interesting arrangement for Ramadhan this year! A special buffet line-up at The Villa and a Communal Feast at The Halia!
So visit The Villa on weekends and you’ll get to enjoy a decadent spread of traditional classics with that unique touch you can get only at The Halia. Start with Sweet and sour seafood with glass noodle and satay before moving on to signatures like Chilli crab spaghettini, a Australian Grain-fed Beef Ribeye carving station, plenty of tasty dishes and finish off with delightful desserts (the Red fruit mascarpone cream tartlet is a MUST HAVE!).
At The Halia, they have a Communal Dining concept which is basically a nice hearty meal to be shared between 4 people. The full menu is actually REALLY comprehensive and is to be shared among the quartet. It consists of Freshly Shucked Irish Oyster, Bluefin Tuna Tartare, Hoki & Potato Brandade, Goats Cheese Mousse, Truffle Fries, Blackmore Wagyu Masala Beef, Pan-fried Barramundi, Slow Cooked Chicken Breast, Roast Rangers Valley Wagyu, MBS 5+, Sticky Toffee Pudding and Die Die Must Have Chocolate.
It may seem really decadent but trust us – if our past experiences at The Halia are anything to go by, this is a meal that you simply should not miss!

The airport is no longer a place we go to just to catch our flights am I right? One of the best reasons to head to Terminal 3 this Ramadhan is to visit the Crowne Plaza® Changi Airport where the Sedap-licious Ramadan Buffet!
Azur boasts a Ramadhan feast where you cantuck into seafood delights and not only plenty of traditional Raya favourites but some international and fusion dishes too. Seafood Paella, Whole Salmon with Laksa Gravy, Barbecued Spring Chicken, Lamb Slab Biryani sounds really good right about now but I’ve got my sights set on the Satay-marinated Australian Beef Short Ribs!
As you end your meal with sweet delights such as kueh and the likes, be sure to try creative desserts like Teh Tarik Tiramisu, Chendol Panna Cotta and… CHILI CRAB ICE CREAM!!

4. 21 ON RAJAH
21 On Rajah presents a refurbished buffet spread this year. The theme is ‘Lauk Padang’ so you can expect to enjoy more than a few traditional dishes there.
Bubur Lambuk, Assam Ikan Tongkol, Sambal Paru, Lamb Shank Curry, Bendi Goreng, Clam Masak Lemak, Ketam Masak Lemak and Beef Cheek Rendang are just some of the dishes available for this special spread.
But fans of the iconic need not fret – 21 on Rajah’s Slow-Roasted New Zealand Beef Rib-Eye is still available along with a few other specials like Ayam Bakar Berempah and Slow-Baked Salted Salmon with Tamarind Glazed Sauce.

A late entry to the list is Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium and their popular (for obvious reasons!) Seafood Extravaganza Buffet! Atrium Restaurant is specially certified Halal for the month of Ramadhan so you can enjoy their special spread.
Start off with the freshest seafood including French Oysters, Baby Marron Lobster and even a sliced-to-order Sashimi station too! Move on to heavier dishes like Chili Crab, Sauteed Sea Prawns with Salted Egg, Seafood Thermidor, Seafood Paella, Prawn Risotto and the seafood list goes on and on!
But don’t worry, you won’t overload on seafood. Check out their carving stations including Roasted Lamb leg, Slow-cooked Ribeye and LIVE grilled Lamb Chops and fresh seafood.

6. RUMAH RASA
Rumah Rasa welcomes one and all to their Ramadan buffet which features their famous Indonesian fare plus a few special dishes prepared just for the season.
When we visited, we tucked into dishes such as Lemak Gudeg, Ayam Woku Belanga, Roti John and Bebek Cabe Ijo among others. As always, we made sure to sample the desserts which included Banana Sago, Cengkodok Pisang and assorted Kueh. Be sure to also check out their LIVE Laksa Asam station.

Chef Wan’s Kitchen is taking a break from their usual ala carte offerings to bring us their very own buffet this Ramadhan. You may spot a few favourites from the ala carte menu (sorry no Tahu Telor!) but quite a lot are unique to this special buffet spread.
What you can definitely enjoy are dishes like Chef Wan’s Selangor Beef Rendang, Ayam Lemak Chilli Padi, Sambal Petai Udang among others. Bibik Neo’s Laksa also make an appearance as LIVE station where you can get your bowl of Laksa to order. Katong Kitchen’s 2018 edition of their Ramadan buffet features more of what made them a popular choice with diners. Prepare to tuck into traditional Nonya delights including Ayam Buah Keluak, their famous Katong Laksa and Seafood in Nonya Fish Curry Sauce among others. Their desserts are always a big draw with Nonya Kueh, Durian Pengat Shooters and Cempedak Crème Brulee!
