We definitely encourage the idea of everyone Iftar-ing at home with family as much as possible but with so many good and exciting choices now, it’s quite a good idea to venture out once in awhile and break your fast with family and/or friends.
This year, we see what is probably the biggest number of special Ramadhan buffets being offered and we’re really spoiled for choice. Well, we’ve come up with a list so you can think things through and plan ahead!

1. 21 on Rajah (Days Hotel at Zhongshan Park)

Always one of our favourite places to dine and they are continually striving to improve their buffet spread as time goes by. They are updating their Ramadhan Buffet spread this year with Ramadan Offerings at 21 on Rajah!
Besides the famed Cold Seafood spread and Ramadhan favourites like Slow Roasted N.Z. Prime Rib-eye and Roasted Yoghurt-marinated Lamb Shoulder, we also tuck into some Maggi Goreng thanks to a special LIVE station that will be operational and preparing fresh batches of this favourite dish! Weekends will also have a Kebab station!
The main highlight is the Mediterr-Asian Nasi Ambeng where you can enjoy dishes like Beef Cheek Randang, Salted Egg Slipper Lobster and Lamb Moussaka along with their tasty 21 Spice Basmati Rice.

Famed for their Roasted Whole Baby Lamb during their Ramadhan buffets, don’t forget to also tuck into tasty offerings from their Bakar Station including Grilled Chicken, tender Oxtail and succulent seafood like Prawn and Seabass that’s simply brimming with flavour. Oh and they have some great Satay too!
Other highlights to enjoy at AquaMarine include the huge spread of Cold Seafood and the excellent fresh Sashimi and Sushi too!
3. Asian Market Cafe (Fairmont Singapore)

4. Atrium Restaurant (Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium)

Here’s a special Seafood Buffet courtesy of Atrium Hotel that has specially been certified Halal just for this Ramadhan period.
Enjoy fresh and tasty seafood dishes like their signature Mussel Otah-Otah, Goan Fish Curry, Black Pepper Crayfish and even Seafood Paella. Don’t worry – there’s non-seafood dishes too like the special Roasted Lamb Leg LIVE station.

5. Carousel (Royal Plaza On Scotts)

Almost definitely one of the top buffet name that springs to the minds of many.
Carousel presents the special ‘Around The World’ Buffet Spread this Ramadhan.
Tuck into special Braised Veal Cheeks, Kofte (Turkish Stuffed Meatballs) and Asian fdishes like Cantonese Slow-Braised Spiced Duck with Eight Treasures Glutinous Rice. Looks like they’re really taking us around the world LOL Don’t forget the usual favourites like the Japanese fare, Roasted Meats and Pasta LIVE stations and Cold Seafood Spread as well.
And definitely don’t forget the desserts spread!

6. Crowne Plaza Changi Airport

Here’s something a little different from Crowne Plaza Changi Airport. They’ve partnered with Rajah Mas Catering to give us a pretty unique buffet arrangement.
If you’re looking for a small get-together, try the special Dome Set which is perfect for about 6 pax.
You can choose from 2 menus with dishes including Nasi Briyani or Nasi Goreng Kampung, Ayam Masak Merah or Ayam Rendang, Beef Rendang or Beef Stew, Sambal Sotong Ball or Lobster Ball with Cheese among others. Condiments like Achar and Emping are included plus desserts like fruits and Assorted Nonya Kueh.
If you have a big group of about 30 pax or more, you can book a special function room and at $48 nett per pax, enjoy a sumptuous spread with starters like Salad, Soto, Gado-Gado and Fortune 5 Crispy Treats. Mains include Fiery Blackforest Fried Rice,Mee Siam Goren, Indo Curry Chicken, Thai Spicy Fried Fish, Fried Sotong in Prawn Paste, Beef Rendang and Sambal Goreng.
7. Katong Kitchen (Village Hotel Katong)

Enjoy a bit of Peranakan flavour this Ramadhan with the special spread prepared at Katong Kitchen.
Signature items include Ayam Buah Keluak, Ayam Pangang, Beef Rendang, Durian Pengat and Chempadak Crème Brûlée. Slow Braised Oxtail, Beef and Lamb Kebab, Sup Kambing and Whole Roasted Lamb also grace this special buffet. They also have a LIVE station with grilled meats and the famous Katong Laksa!
8. Kintamani (Furama Riverfront)

Price: $55++ Adult / $20++ Child | $48++ for Nasi Tumpeng
Prayer Rooms: No
Renown for their Indonesian fare, Kintamani offers up the best of Balinese cuisine this Ramadhan.
Tuck into Grilled Lamb leg, Grilled Chicken Shawarma, Roti Jala with Chicken Curry and even Chili Crab. Look forward also to familiar favourites from the famous Kintamani buffet spread.
For the ultimate, separately order the unique Nasi Tumpeng which is a traditional Nasi Kuning dish served with Beef Rendang, Chicken and vegetable dishes too. An order is good for about 2 pax at the special price of $48++ which also also includes dessert.
PS they have a special 1-for-1 promotion with major banks’ credit cards for the buffet.
9. Straits Kitchen (Grand Hyatt)

The only buffet on the list that indicates a Dress Code on their website (don’t worry it’s Smart Casual LOL), Straits Kitchen has always been famous for serving up a wide array of differing Asian cuisine and the Ramadhan special buffet is no different.
Besides the selection from their usual buffet like Malay/Nonya selection, BBQ selections like Otah and Grilled Fish, Chinese cuisine like Black Pepper Crab and Chili Crab, Noodles, BBQ Meats and Tandoori (among others too), the Ramadhan buffet has even more special dishes.
The special menu changes every week so it’s best to check what’s on offer when making your plans to visit. Safe to say that at Straits Kitchen, you will be spoiled for choice for sure!
10. Tiffany Cafe (Furama City Centre)

Yeah, we know. It’s been awhile since we’ve heard the name Tiffany Cafe right? Well, they are definitely still going strong and have a Ramadhan buffet spread for us!
Enjoy an International buffet spread which includes a variety of Western, Local & Japanese cuisine.
During Ramadhan Period enjoy a 1-for-1 promotion for selected banks’ credit cards.
11. Window On The Park (Holiday Inn Orchard City Centre)

Window On The Park at Holiday Inn Orchard City Centre is another restaurant that has been specially certified Halal for the Ramadhan period and they have a great 1-for-1 offer for us!
Start with the Fresh Seafood spread including prawns, shellfish, flower crabs and even oysters and Salmon sashimi! Special dishes include Satay, Mutton Korma, Ayam Masak Merah, Beef Curry, Jakarta-Style Roast Chicken, Udang Pedas Nenas and Sauteed Mussels in Sambal Belachan among others.
Their Signature dishes line-up includes Singapore Laksa, Seafood Mee Goreng, Nasi Lemak, and Oyster Omelette! Don’t forget desserts like Bubur Hitam, Sago Gula Melaka, DIY Ice Kachang and the interesting Cendol Panna Cotta.
They are even super thoughtful and have prepared massage chairs so you can relax before Iftar!
And in case you missed it, this is a 1-for-1 buffet deal!
