Lobsters are calling out to you at Fish & Chicks!! 😛 Oh yes! It’s lobster season again and you can get your fill at Fish & Chicks without breaking the bank. After all, this highly coveted treasure of the sea is premium stuff!
Fish & Chicks is the go-to place when we wanna get great quality seafood at a really affordable price. An I have to point out that even though I say affordable price, it’s still really good quality food they are churning out. I mean, we’re talking about serving lobsters here! Plus, it’s really accessible with 12 outlets islandwide and most of them operating out of coffeeshops and food courts! 😀

So besides the usual great fare on the menu, they’ve got 4 special choices for you. And of course, they’ve ALL got lobster 😀
Before I get into the individual dishes, I wanna point out how affordably priced these special dishes are. I mean, lobster is known for being a premium (and often quite expensive) ingredient. The Lobster Feast dishes at Fish & Chicks are priced between $15.90 to $26.90! Great quality at great prices!
On top of that, you even get to choose from a variety of sauces for your seafood and also your pasta. Trust me – it’s gonna be hard to choose because they’re all so good! You’ll see what I mean…
We often like to say “Go big or go home!” and when it comes to the Lobster Feast, you can go all out with a serving of FULL LOBSTER! We’re talking about a WHOLE lobster (the other platters include a half-lobster) to feast on! Served with Fries and some Coleslaw on the side.
Like we mentioned earlier, you get to choose your sauces right? For the lobster, choose from Salted Egg, Chilli Crab, Mentaiko, Curry Cheese or Cheese.
We went for Cheese on one half and Mentaiko (!!!) on the other half. Both were creamy and absolutely YUMMY! I really really love Mentaiko lah! And they’re so generous with it at Fish & Chicks!
Did I mention that I REALLY love Mentaiko? 😛
I love it so much that for the Lobster Pasta dish, I chose Mentaiko for both the pasta AND the lobster LOL
I guess that the creamy Mentaiko really goes well with both the pasta and the seafood. Some people may say it’s overload but if you’re like me, this is simply fantastic. But if Mentaiko is not your thing, you can also choose Salted Egg, Chilli Crab, Carbonara or Tomato base for your pasta.
Calling all my fellow carnivores and meat lovers! If you simply cannot ignore the urge to have some meaty goodness then the Surf & Turf will probably be a good choice for you.
Along with your serving of half a lobster (which we chose Cheese for the topping on this one btw), you get a nice and juicy beef steak! Definitely a generous serving to be honest but a satisfying one. The steak comes with a brown gravy for extra oomph!
And last but certainly not least, we had to have a dish with the classic serving of fish that Fish & Chicks is famous for right? The Fish & Lobster platter gives you the best of both seafood choices – half a lobster and a battered Fish which has been give that great #DeepFriedGoodness treatment!
We went with the Chilli Crab sauce for the lobster on this one. Without question, it totally went together. I mean, we’ve enjoyed Chilli Crab and Chilli Crayfish before right? Well, this one has the king daddy Chilli Lobster! 😛
Fans of Fish & Chicks would probably have had the Salted Egg Sauce before. That luscious, creamy, sedap giler golden sauce *droooooool* It’s amazeballs lah trust us and try it.
And I don’t wanna get your hopes to high but…
If you’re really really lucky, you might get an extra treat with some lobster roe! We’ve been told it’s the season so when you dig into your lobster, you might get a surprise! 😀
Fish & Chicks’ Lobster Feast is NOW ON (as of the date of this post lah LOL) and there’ no definite send date for now. So take it as indefinitely ongoing but don’t take too long to drop by and enjoy while you can. After all, time flies and before you know it, the promo is gone!
