We are back with another great choice for Halal mooncakes this upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival.
In fact, it comes from a very unlikely source!
Tip Top is a name you would associate with those great curry puffs that they are famous for am I right? Which is why it came as a bit of a surprise when we heard that they would be releasing a range of mooncakes for the first time and the best part – they’re certified Halal!
Tip Top was not just offering one or two types of mooncakes okay. They were releasing no less than SEVEN different variations are really attractive pricing too!
So you’ve got 7 different traditional baked mooncakes – Pure Lin Yoong (Lotus Paste), Single Yolk Lin Yoong, Double Yolk Lin Yoong, Pure White Lin Yoong, Double Yolk White Lin Yoong, Single Yolk Golden Jade and No Cane Sugar White Lin Yoong.
We got to try 4 of those mooncakes we were very pleasantly surprised! The mooncakes were delicious! The Lin Yoong has a very smooth texture and (of course) Salted Egg Yolks are always a welcome addition LOL
Very interesting selections in their range of mooncakes include the Single Yolk Golden Jade mooncake and also the No Cane Sugar White Lin Yoong with the latter being very suitable for those who are keeping an eye on their sugar intake.
The Tip Top mooncakes pricing ranges between $28-34 for a box of 4 mooncakes depending on your selection. We have to say that for a first time entry, these are definitely worth getting! Plus, with all the fangled new and fancy flavours out there, it’s nice to see something simple we all enjoy. After all, Tip Top is ‘Traditionally Delightful’ right!
You can drop by any of their 8 outlets to get your mooncakes (gonna be 9 when their Sengkang Square outlet opens in September!) or you could also contact their hotline / send an email to tiptop@allbestfoods.com.sg for any enquiries including corporate orders too!
