image from Singapore Post

Yassssssssssss it’s finally officially opened! After their soft-opening in July, the newly-renovated and updated SingPost Centre is all hustle and bustle with a majority of the tenants already moved in and operational!

Nestled in the heart of Paya Lebar (and right next to the MRT!!), the SingPost Centre has been updated to become a ‘Smart Mall’ and boasts several key tenants including Golden Village cinemas, plenty of shopping options and of course – PLENTY OF MAKAN!!!

So, we took a quick walk-through the mall and came up with this list of Halal makan places spotted at the NEW SingPost Centre! There are 14 for now but let’s hope to see more and more in the future!

Disclaimer: All the makan places featured on this list have only just become operational. Therefore, their official Halal Certificates have not been confirmed nor issued. Halal Certification application processes in Singapore requires that each establishment be operational for a certain period of time before they become eligible to apply. This list was compiled with information gathered from the individual brands regarding their Halal / Halal application status by speaking with either the ground staff or brand representatives from within our contacts. The list will be updated accordingly once more details become available. If you feel uncomfortable to patronise before the Halal Certifications arrive at each food establishment, please be reminded that patronage is at everyone’s individual discretion.

BONUS INFORMATION!!!

Besides all the makan, we also saw a few other brands we are familiar with. The supermarket at B1 is NTUC Fairprice and at the top floor are the Golden Village cinema halls. And of course, they have the Post Office at the 1st floor and if you’re a philatelist like me, they have a special store there! If you’re in the mood for karaoke, we also saw that Cash Studio is opening soon! 😛

Well, there you have it folks, the rundown on the Halal makan places to be found at the newly-reopened SingPost Centre. As always, with newly opened places, certification takes awhile so let’s be patient. Just remember that in the meantime, if you have any doubts, then best to avoid. Just make plans ajer lah okay! We will update the list as and when we have new/more information!!
