Who doesn’t love a good burger am I right? There’s nothing like some good ol’ diner grub to get the blood going. The good news – Fatburger has got you covered!
Fatburger has been open for almost half a year now and both their outlets at KINEX and Novena Square are certified Halal! But what exactly do they specialize it? Well, as the name rightly implies – BURGERS! But there’s plenty of other stuff too including some awesome sides, hotdogs and even Buffalo Wings too!
But more on all that later ok. Let’s get down to the burgers 😀
Wooooooo would you look at that! ?
So at Fatburger, they specialize in.. Burgers! (like duh) and you actually have a quite a few choices to make!
First of all, you get to choose how many patties you’d like in your burger. You can start with a Single (Original) and move up to Double (XXL), Triple (XXXL) and all the way up to the maximum Quad (XXXXL) FUYOH! The all-beef patties nestle in between Brioche Buns and there’s a whole host of stuff that goes in there too.
You get THE WORKS – Mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, relish and mustard in there by default (but you can tell the to leave stuff out if you don’t fancy it). You might also wanna go BIGGER and add on stuff like more cheese, an egg, beef bacon (which is in that burger in the pic), chili (as in Chili Concarne) and Onion Rings.
The beef patty is seasoned simply with salt and pepper (the way it should be!) and you get a good beefy bite there. I thought they’d use the classic potato buns but instead, they use a Brioche which was an awesome idea! The bun was super soft and buttery and really made this a great burger.
Prices start at $7.90 for the Single and up to $15.90 for the Quad. Add $4 to make it ‘FAT’ (which actually means you’re getting the meal including Fries and a Drink :P)
If you’re watching what you eat (in which case you actually shouldn’t be eating at Fatburger :P) then they have something you might suitable – the Skinny Burger is basically a burger with no buns.
Instead of the Brioche buns, they eliminate the carbs but using the all-beef patties as buns instead. Might be appealing to some I guess but hey hey hey those Brioche Buns are the BOMB!
Fatburger also has a few sides for you to enjoy with your burgers of course! Fries are an obvious choice right? Well, they’ve got the ‘normal’ Skinny Fries but go big with the Fat Fries! Trust us – they are BIG 😛 They’ve also got Sweet Potato Fries and Chili Cheese Fries if you feel like going all out.
Our personal recommendation is their Homemade Onion Rings – SEDAP GILER!
Crisp on the outside and a perfect bite! One of the best Onion Rings you can get out there we reckon!
When you visit Fatburger, you may also see their co-brand Buffalo’s Chicken as well. This is the part that handles the chicken (like we mentioned at the start of the post). This includes Chicken Burgers and Buffalo Wings too!
They’ve got both Fried and Grilled Chicken Burgers you can enjoy (we vote for Fried LOL) and you can also add-on stuff like Beef Bacon and Onion Rings like their beefier counterparts. Besides that, Buffalo’s Chicken also has Buffalo Wings! They have both Bone-In Wings and Boneless Chicken so take your pick.
Flavours go from the mild Plain and all the way up to the ultimate DEATH VALLEY! The name itself says a lot so if you’re not into the spicy stuff then go for one of the lower levels okay 😀
And last but definitely not least – the newest addition to the Fatburger menu is their American Classic Hotdogs!
Go for the Classic Hot Dog, the Chili Dog or, our personal fave, the Chili Cheese Dog! Chicken cheese sauce in between that awesome Brioche bun and be sure to go for The Works! The Chili Cheese Dog is also loaded with their Beef Chili (which they make in-house everyday) and plenty of Cheddar cheese!
We are simply spoiled for choice aren’t we? So much great food to enjoy and it’s so great to see BURGERS are making a big comeback in recent times! I mean, Fatburger is a world-renown brand all the way from the USA and we’ve got it here and Halal!
